RainbowFox successfully organized 15 sessions of Queer Dance Therapy in Brno, providing a safe and affirming space for LGBTIQ+ forcibly displaced individuals, refugees, and asylum seekers. These sessions offered participants a chance to express themselves freely, build confidence, and process their experiences through movement in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
The sessions focused on body awareness, emotional healing, and community connection, helping participants release stress, strengthen their identities, and foster a sense of belonging. Led by experienced facilitators, the initiative encouraged self-expression and empowerment while promoting mental well-being through dance and movement therapy.
Through these sessions, RainbowFox continues its mission to support LGBTIQ+ refugees in the Czech Republic, ensuring they have access to healing spaces, community support, and opportunities for self-care. The success of this initiative highlights the importance of alternative therapeutic approaches in addressing the unique challenges faced by forcibly displaced queer individuals.
